REGIONAL BUSINESS CENTER TIMIŞOARA
I am honored to welcome you to the XVIIth National Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, an exceptional scientific gathering, held in Timișoara, Romania, between 18th – 21st of October, 2017, at the Regional Business Center.
This occasion will bring us together, eager to share expertise, ideas and scientific achievements in all areas of orthopaedics and traumatology. We have chosen a venue that guarantees a successful conference amid the culture and scenery of Timișoara, the future Cultural European Capital (2021).
Our technical program is rich and varied, having Knee Pathology as the main subject.
We also expect to provide technical demonstrations and numerous opportunities for informal networking. Colleagues from USA, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Greece and from Romania will hold presentations, structured as it follows:
- Instructional course (AAOS)
- Symposiums (EFORT, ESSKA-EKA)
- Round tables
- E-poster and free papers
I am confident that the 2017 programme will stimulate debate and shed a new light on advances in the field. As a novelty, the programme will include “Orthopaedics Interdisciplinarity”, separate sessions being dedicated to our colleagues from:
- Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (in colaboration with SRIMS)
- Pediatric Orthopaedics and Traumatology
- Medical recovery
Knowledge is deepened when it is shared and by meeting, discussing experiences and debating varying approaches to key topics, we can work towards a better future for orthopaedics and traumatology. We will also make sure to share with you some of the local traditional experiences and delights.
